Ancient City of Petra will Light It Up Blue for people with autism

Petra, the archaeological site in Jordan’s southwestern desert and one of the 7 Wonders of the World will Light It Up Blue on April 2, 2017 in honor of World Autism Awareness Day!

Petra dates back to 300 B.C and was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. The site has been featured in countless films including Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The Mummy Returns.

Petra contains tombs and temples inside the structure that were carved into pink sandstone cliffs which earned it the nickname, the “Rose City.”
