The Edinburgh Castle located in Scotland will Light It Up Blue on April 2, 2018 in honor of World Autism Awareness Day

  • Edinburgh Castle is a historic fortress which dominates the skyline of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, from its position on the Castle Rock.
  • The site has been  occupied since the late Bronze Age. 
  • Buildings of present castle date from the 12th to 21st centuries
  •  It was captured twice, briefly, by Covenanters during the Bishops' Wars of 1639 and 1640 and was seized by Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army in 1650, during the English Civil Wars.
