Autism Speaks Research Reduces Autism Stigma in South Korea

In this video blog from IMFAR, Autism Speaks’ Michael Rosanoff and Yale psychiatrist/epidemiologist Young Shin Kim discuss how Autism-Speaks funded research in South Korea did more than test new methods for screening school children for autism. By involving teachers and families, the research reduced autism stigma in South Korea while increasing awareness of autism’s broad spectrum.

Join Rosanoff and other Autism Speaks science staffers on Friday, at 4 pm Mountain Time, for this year’s live IMFAR Twitter Chat: @IMFAR2015. More info at http://sfari.org/imfarchat.
