Tis The Season to Celebrate with our Community!

We posted a question on our Official Autism Speaks Facebook Page recently asking what moments stand out during the holiday season. We wanted to share some of the great responses and photos we received!

My Aspie son on the left always enjoys making cut out cookies as a family. His job is frosting, which he happily does even at age 21!

Max's fav thing about Christmas is playing with his new toys. Sometimes it gets overwhelming for him but this has gotten easier for him over the last couple years. Can't wait to see his beaming face on Christmas morning.

This is my son David, he is 4 1/2 years old. He loves playing with his twin brother, Scotty, who is standing behind him, when he’s not in school during the holidays.

My son Westin (now 7, but was 6 in this pic from last year) loves to sit and watch the snow fall. So precious and so sweet!

My 4 yr old ASD/ADHD boy loves and I mean LOVES driving around looking at people's lights and decorations. This is the first year we were able to decorate our own home for him and it was worth every ounce of effort and every dollar spent!

Singing! (But only SHE can sing, no one else.)

Same as any other day, the progress and the laughter. :)

They love the decorations, the lights, and most of all, the music! They won't go to bed without their Christmas songs on the radio!

My son LOVES vacuum attachments. He is 18 now but has always had a vacuum obcession. It is all he can think about at Christmastime! Getting presents of attachments.

My girls, both on the spectrum, love the lights and the trees. Our house is North Pole Central, inside and out.

My cousin likes to eat at a local restaurant in her city cuz she likes to watch the musicians that play xmas carols across the street!

Opening Presents!!!

His Elf on the Shelf this year is his favorite thing EVER! He loves waking up to find out what mischief his elf Bernard has gotten into.

Seeing Santa and looking at Christmas lights make my 8 year old son insanely happy! I Love seeing him smile
