Kerry's Korner #23: Jadyn Waiser's NFL Debut

The New York Jets are making dreams come true this summer as Jadyn Waiser, a 8 year old with autism, got the opportunity of a lifetime to perform at half-time in front of 80,000 people at MetLife Stadium with The Jets Junior Flight Crew Cheerleaders during a Giants vs. Jets Preseason Game.

Jadyn joined the other 150 Junior Flight Crew Cheerleaders earlier this May when the Director of The New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders, Denise Garvey was approached about having a child with autism join the squad. Everyone involved was very excited to have Jadyn join their community and to embrace the fact that everyone has abilities that should be allowed to shine in this world.

For Jadyn, cheerleading is nothing new to her says a very proud mother in Michelle Wiser. Jadyn has been wanting to be a cheerleader for years and wants to do it as a career when she grows up. Jadyn has never let her disability get the best of her and is a role model to countless individuals out there that with perseverance, anything is possible. We wish Jadyn the best and are looking forward to seeing her name in lights in lights in the future.
