On Monday, April 23, White Castle Headquarters turned blue to kick off Autism Awareness Week in Central Ohio. The Ingram/White Castle Family invited members of the autism community to join together for autism awareness for a reception with sliders and sides to honor and celebrate some special efforts in the autism community. White Castle presented a check for $10,000 to the Marci and Bill Ingram Comprehensive Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders for genetic research at The Ohio State University.
White Castle has been the presenting sponsor of the Columbus Walk Now for Autism Speaks since the inaugural event in 2008. In 2011, White Castle team members raised over $543,000 one dollar at a time through their puzzle piece campaign at local restaurants. A very sincere thank you to Bill and Marci Ingram and everyone at White Castle for their continued dedication and commitment to the mission of Autism Speaks. Crave on!
