Move, Groove, Get Active! offers family-centered supports in a structured setting. One of the primary goals of this program is to provide opportunities for students on the autism spectrum to establish overall quality of life activities that may have otherwise been limited due to rigorous academic expectations, family commitments, or other challenges. Our objectives include: (1) introducing individuals with ASD between the ages of 5 and 20 with activities that develop cognitive, psychomotor and socio-emotional skills; (2) presenting parent support and seminars targeted to improve quality of life; and (3) fostering sibling support within an individualized mentorship program targeted to meet their needs.
