Infants 6 weeks through 3 years of age with special needs are provided with developmental services based on the family?s wants and needs
Children ages 3 through 5 will have a minimum of one staff member assigned for every seven children. Children with special needs have a program based on their individual habilitation plan, including; early childhood special education, integration with non-disabled peers, therapy services, and early childhood curriculum.
The Forrester-Davis Development Center Adult Development Center program is designed to teach adults skills in order to function to their maximum in the community and give them work skills so they can transition into employment and/or live independently. Other funding sources services are available free of charge to adults 18 years of age and older who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. Instructor ratio, of no more than 10 to 1, clients receive the degree of individual attention necessary. Clients learn basic life skill from learning to write their own name, count money, and wash their own laundry to prevocational training which could include work experience or vocational training.
