UPDATED: November 1, 2018

KUOT-CCC offers evaluations, individual services, consultations, and group therapy for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) of all ages from the local community in order to increase independence and help them live life to the fullest. Individualized goals are created in collaboration with the client and/or caregiver to ensure our treatment interventions are client centered. Individual treatment plans and therapeutic programs for our pediatric clients can focus on improving self care skills, handwriting and school related skills, play and social interaction with peers with additional focus on fine/gross motor skills, sensory modulation, bilateral coordination, improving body awareness and emotional awareness training as needed. Adolescent and adult individual programs focus on a variety of valued occupations including: job skills training, increasing independence in self-care and home making skills, community mobility training, advocacy training, increasing social participation skills and improving time/organization strategies for increased independence at home, work, and school. KUOT-CCC also offers a variety of therapeutic groups for all ages that vary each season. Consistent programs include A Taste of Independence-a cooking program with social skills component offered each semester and Steps To Your Future- a week long, overnight pre-college immersion program offered each summer.
