Collaborative Behavior Solutions
UPDATED: September 10, 2018
Collaborative Behavior Solutions (CBS) provides intensive, in-home, and wrap-around Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism. ABA can take place wherever a child may need services, and often home can be the most helpful place to work toward goals.
Results from an ABA program are best when individualized and everyone in the child's environment is working collectively toward shared goals. For those reasons, CBS collaborates with families and others dedicated to the child's progress to implement interventions both inside and outside of daily sessions. At CBS, our goal is to help families and children reach the point that they no longer need our services.
CBS also offers camps and social groups at our on-site location, "The Farm" where children enjoy a natural play space, outdoor learning spaces, an in ground pool, exposure to different animals, and of course, all the traditional elements used to get ready for transitions into school and other structured settings. It is here we create opportunities for children with ASD and their typically developing peers to come together and work on shared goals. These programs are also part of the intensive programming provided under the direction of their Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and with the 1:1 support of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Clients of CBS also benefit from skills based swim lessons, individual and group, using the principles of ABA.
