Ballet Virginia

Children's Dance Programs

UPDATED: November 19, 2019

At Ballet Virginia, we believe that dance should be accessible to anyone who wants to dance. So, we’ve created ballet-based creative movement program for children with disabilities and their caregiver/parent for ages 3 to 8 years.

The program is under the direction of BVA Children’s Program Director, Lisa McCarty. Ms. McCarty has completed the Boston Ballet’s Adaptive Dance Teacher Training course and has taught children’s dance classes for over 25 years.

High quality, engaging instruction in a positive and fun environment will foster coordination, self-confidence, musicality, fitness and personal growth.
