Held at the Curb Center at Vanderbilt, 1801 Edgehill Ave., Nashville. Families of children with autism are invited to learn about how to create visual aids to help with daily routines and a specific additional focus on how to help ease the burden of blood draws during a clinic visit. At this free event, families will be given tools to create their own boards of visual supports that they can take home. Dinner will be provided for those who register, and facilitators will hold raffle drawings for a tablet and gift cards. Presenters will be Beth Malow, M.D., M.S. and Whitney Loring, Psy.D.
