Video: DIY stress creatures

 

This project is recommended for use in children ages 5 and up. This project may contain choking hazards. The CDC reports that children under age 5 are at greatest risk for choking injury. 

What you'll need to make DIY stress creatures

  • Balloons
  • Flour or dry rice 
  • Glitter and décor
  • Yarn 
  • Empty plastic water bottle/paper funnel for easier clean up (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour flour or dry rice into an empty plastic bottle 
  2. Inflate balloon and quickly place on the top of the plastic bottle 
  3. Flip bottle and shake rice or flour into the balloon as you deflate it. 
  4. Tie balloon off
  5. Decorate!
