Respect other members of the Autism Speaks and autism community

We want to foster positive and family-friendly spaces. We know the autism community, like any other, contains a diverse variety of experiences and voices. We encourage kindness and respect when interacting with our content and other members of the community. Harassment will not be tolerated.

We only allow content that is appropriate for all ages and demographics

We do not allow content that is offensive or inappropriate. This includes profanity, sexual content, slurs, terrorism, misinformation or defamatory comments.

We absolutely do not allow content that attacks anyone based on their disabilities, race, ethnicity, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. We also do not allow content that is harmful like pseudoscience “cures or treatments” and anti-vaccination propaganda.

Foster meaningful and genuine interactions

Spam is not allowed on our social media platforms. This includes posting repetitive comments or content, or repeatedly contacting people without their consent. Content that promotes or encourages solicitation or sale of products or services is not allowed.

We do not allow impersonation of others or the creation of accounts for the purpose of violating these guidelines.
