Announcing the first Autism Speaks U Light It Up Blue Facebook photo contest for colleges and universities!
Contest Details:
- Begins Monday, April 2 at 9am ET and ends Monday, April 9 at 4pm ET.
- Contest specifically for college and university students, staff and faculty.
- Limited to 1 photo entry per individual (for chapters/clubs: each member can submit 1 photo).
- Winners announced Monday, April 9 at 5pm ET via the Autism Speaks U Facebook page.
- Prizes awarded to the top 3 photos that receive the most Facebook "likes."
How to Enter:
- Use a professional camera to take high resolution pictures during Light It Up Blue, World Autism Awareness Day and Autism Awareness Month! Please no camera phone pictures.
- Get creative! Submit any of the following pictures:
- Buildings being lit up blue.
- Picture of students/staff/faculty holding Autism Speaks U banners/signage in front of buildings being lit up blue.
- Picture of event participants wearing blue, holding Autism Speaks U banners/signage and showing their support.
- Picture of homemade Autism Speaks U signage, blue decorations, awareness materials, etc.
- Email pictures to autismspeaksuliub@autismspeaks.org and include:
- Your name, school, phone number, name of club/Greek organization (if applicable), description of event and/or name of building(s) lit up blue.
- This information must be included to be entered into the contest.
- Your name, school, phone number, name of club/Greek organization (if applicable), description of event and/or name of building(s) lit up blue.
- All photos will be posted to a Facebook album at http://on.fb.me/liubalbum.
- Autism Speaks U will email individuals when photo is posted.
- Have friends and family "like" your picture in the album. The top 3 pictures with the most "likes" wins!
- For votes to count, people will need to "like" your individual picture and not the album.
Prizes: Questions: Prizes need to be claimed by November 1, 2012. Grants will be in the form of a gift card. Winners are asked to submit receipts for event expenses before receiving grant. Only one winner chosen from each college/university.
