Doctoral Candidate Discusses Employment of Adults with Autism

Autism Speaks staffer Kerry Magro interviewed Tiffany Johnson to discuss her work as a doctoral candidate at Pennsylvania State University’s College of Business. As a member of the Management & Organization department, she has been using survey and interview data to better understand the workplace experiences of adults with autism spectrum disorders.

Drew Carey Offers Reward for Ice Bucket Challenge Bullying Arrests

(September 8, 2014) - Celebrities are taking to social media to show support for the victim of a bullying incident involving the ice bucket challenge in Ohio. "Price is Right" host Drew Carey tweeted that he would donate $10,000 to help the police investigation into the perpetrators involved in the terrible act against a 15-year-old on the autism spectrum. 

Thousands Turn Out For Autism Speaks' 4 Miles of Hope

NEW YORK (Sept. 6, 2014) -- New York’s Central Park was the place to be where over 5,000 runners participated in the 2nd annual Autism Speaks 4 Miles of Hope. The crowd included a dedicated team of 150 runners specifically running and raising money to support the mission of Autism Speaks, with a fundraising total to date of over $40,000.
