Hockomock Area YMCA Integration Initiative

This Integration Initiative provides children with disabilities an opportunity to participate with their typically developing peers in Y programs and activities. The goals of the Initiative are to improve social skills, increase physical activity, and enhance mutual respect among people of all abilities. To facilitate inclusion, Integration Coordinators are located at each branch conducting personalized assessments and offering suggestions for individualized accommodations.
