NAAR Wristbands Support Research
July 1, 2005

NAAR is pleased to announce the availability of its new wristband, the only one of its kind dedicated exclusively to accelerating autism research.

(note, these wristbands are no longer available).

Despite strikingly high prevalence, autism remains one of the lowest funded areas of medical research in both the public and private sectors. Currently, the causes of autism are unknown and there are no specific medical treatments or a cure.

Biomedical research offers our best hope of unraveling the mysteries of autism providing a better life for children and families living with this devastating disorder.

Your purchase of NAAR's new wristband supports our mission to fund research aimed at determining the causes of autism, developing effective treatments and finding a cure.

NAAR's wristband is green and features the slogan, Support Autism Research” naar.og. . The wristbands will generate awareness about autism and the critical need to increase research funding.
