Many families of children with autism dread the impending holiday season- between the travel, food, relatives, religious services, gifts and general hustle and bustle, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the entire season.  This web chat will include opportunities for families to ask questions and learn about tried and true tips for successfully navigating all aspects of the holidays with a child with autism.  This includes successful travel planning in a post-911 world, accommodating special diets during holiday meals, managing the questions and advice of well-intentioned relatives, successfully participating in religious services and the selection and presentation of gifts for children with unique needs.
