How to Access AGRE Biomaterials

In order to place biomaterial orders or access any AGRE online phenotypic data, researchers should complete an Access Application and the Researcher Distribution Agreement. The Access Application and the Researcher Distribution Agreement are available online here.

The completed Access Application and signed Researcher Distribution Agreement should be returned to AGRE (with a copy of an IRB approval or exemption letter) for review. The application will then be forwarded to the AGRE Researcher Review Committee. Approved researchers will be assigned a username and password, which can be used to access all data on the AGRE website.

All requests for biomaterials should be made directly to the  AS Genetics team. Researchers should email a spreadsheet with the AU family codes, the HI cell line identifiers, and the type of biomaterial requested (i.e., DNA, cell lines, serum or plasma). The researcher must provide the correct shipping and billing address for the order. Please note that whole blood DNA, serum and plasma are not available for all samples.

AGRE offers quality samples at competitive prices. Shipping charges will be added to the total cost of the samples. An invoice will be mailed upon release of the samples (to be paid within 30 days).
