Previously sibling caregivers were not explicitly covered in the law, creating barriers for families working together to support loved-ones with disabilities.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott signed a new budget into law Tuesday which included funding that would move more than 2,000 people off the waiting list for iBudget Waiver services. The signed budget received approval from the Florida Legislature in a special June session.
