Blue Horizons for Autism

JetBlue Airways and Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport partnered with Autism Speaks to bring a unique travel experience to the autism community. The Blue Horizons for Autism event was the first one in Broward County, and we had families from all over South Florida, including Miami, Hollywood, all the way up to Palm Beach Gardens.

On Wednesday, over 150 people in the autism community traveled to Orlando International Airport to walk through the full airport experience at a Blue Horizons for Autism event. A big thank you to JetBlue Airways for their help with this successful and fun-filled afternoon!

Through a partnership between Autism Speaks and JetBlue Airways, over 600 people in the autism community were able to walk through the airport experience in a fun and realistic setting by participating in Blue Horizons for Autism events at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, NY, and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA.
