On Wednesday, the Ohio House Committee on Government Affairs and Oversight passed HB 350 by a vote of 8-4. The bill now moves to the House floor where it will be considered after the November elections.

The Autism Law Summit is a national gathering of self-selected advocates who want to change autism law and policy for the better. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley signed H. 3768, ABLE legislation, which passed both chambers of the state legislature and is now headed to Governor Nikki Haley for her signature. The bill was passed unanimously in the House, 102-0, and in the Senate, 41-0 during April, Autism Awareness Month.

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed HB 2962 ensuring meaningful autism insurance coverage in the state. The law will prevent state regulated health insurers from continuing to exclude basic, evidence-based care for children diagnosed with autism.
