The Florida House passed the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act, SB 642, by a vote of 117 to 0. The legislation, which allows families the opportunity to set up tax-exempt 529A savings accounts for disability-related expenses, passed the Florida Senate earlier this month by a vote of 38-0.

The Texas Senate passed the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act, SB 1664, to allow families the opportunity to set up tax-exempt 529A savings accounts for disability-related expenses. The measure was sponsored by Senator Charles Perry of Lubbock.
