Last week, Autism Speaks released its latest tool kit from the Autism Treatment Network - Puberty and Adolescence Resource: A Guide for Parents. On Tuesday, Matt Asner sat down on Autism Live with Kameena Ballard-Dawkins, AS-ATN family representative at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and mother of a teenage girl with autism to discuss the kit.

Over 100 participants gathered Wednesday night in Montclair, New Jersey for a Town Hall meeting. Participants brainstormed the work that can be done together to increase services and supports for young adults and adults with autism. Among the resources featured was TheSpectrumCareers.com, a jobs portal for individuals on the spectrum.

On Thursday evening, the Autism Speaks Long Island chapter hosted a Town Hall in Farmingdale, New York. Part of an ongoing series of Town Halls across the country, this event focused on transition planning. Over 80 people joined us for the conversation, as we discussed the process of moving from adolescence into adulthood.
