Autism Speaks CEO updates Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee on new strategic plan

On Jan. 13th, Autism Speaks Chief Executive Officer Angela Geiger updated the federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) on Autism Speaks new strategic plan at the committee's first quarterly meeting of 2017, at the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Maryland. Under the mandate of the Autism CARES Act, the IACC coordinates all autism research and service activities within the US Department of Health and Human Services. It is charged with ensuring that a wide range of ideas and perspectives are considered and discussed in a public forum.
