Now in its 46th year of service, STARS’ mission is to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. STARS was founded in 1973 by a group of parents troubled by a lack of community resources for their adult children with developmental disabilities. STARS offers a wide variety of high-quality, integrated services, including fitness, vocational training, arts, and social that address the unmet, critical needs of youth and adults with developmental disabilities.
