The Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration (BHDDA) services and supports in Michigan are delivered through a county-based community mental health services programs (CMHSPs).  Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), along with 46 regional Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSPs) and 10 Pre-paid Inpatient Health Plans (PIHPs), contracts public funds for mental health, substance abuse prevention and treatment, and developmental disability services.
