Life College’s TILE (Transition to Independent Living and Employment) program is a collaboration with Irvine Valley College, community leaders, and local businesses.
We help young adults with intellectual disabilities including, but not limited to, Autism, Fragile X, Brain Injury, and other Developmentally Delayed Learners.
The goal is to transition our students from dependent living through a college experience to prepare them for gainful employment and independent living.
This 2-year adult transition college program focuses on self-development, living skills, and employment training.
Our classes are held at Irvine Valley College – ATEP campus in Tustin.
Our Life College internship program will teach students transferable job skills for careers in industries such as automotive, child development, computer software development, leisure and hospitality, light manufacturing, healthcare, office administration, transportation, and warehousing while demonstrating the soft skills necessary to maintain gainful employment.
Faculty-to-student ratios are expected not to exceed 1:8.
