Javamo Art for Autism dba Autism Shifts

UPDATED: September 10, 2018

Autism Shifts mission: To guide people with Autism to develop their God-given “Uniqabilities,” gain meaningful employment, live as independently as possible and successfully integrate into our communities.

The Pathways to Employment Program equips students to successfully transition to employment in careers that include Culinary/Restaurants, Barista, Animation, Digital Design and other roles that match their unique talents and interests. The program focuses on building their job skills as well as their social, communication, multi-tasking and teamwork abilities as well as how to manage their own emotional/physical/mental well being. Students learn about the work environment so they understand things like understanding the work culture, understanding your role, managing your own performance, etc.
