The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)**, once known as food stamps, helps individuals and families make ends meet.
Depending on income guidelines, SNAP recipients are allotted a specific dollar amount loaded onto a debit card, which gives you the freedom to choose what you eat.
