Good Shepherd Center for Exceptional Children

Good Shepherd Center was incorporated in 1963 as a not-for-profit organization, to provide therapeutic and developmental services for children throughout south suburban Cook County, through our Early Intervention therapy program for children ages birth to 3, Pediatric therapy for children over the age of 3, In-Home Respite Care program that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages. We also have acquired a new grant to train Child Care Providers in south suburban Cook from 2018 through 2020 to handle challenging behaviors in children to stop children with Autism Spectrum disorders from being expelled from their Child Care Center.
