CHF’s pocket neighborhood is being created by a group of families who have come together to create a place for their adult children with disabilities to live with one another, and others, in an intentional neighborhood. A common desire among future residents to build friendships and live in shared housing is the impetus for our model. Driven by their children’s desire for relationships, independence, and choice, these families have pooled their resources to create a sustainable housing community close to urban amenities, while offering the beauty of a natural setting.
