I help special needs parents eat healthy without feeling overwhelmed and stressed.

My son Ben has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. When our family found out about his diagnosis it changed everything. Sleep was very hard to come by, and needing to care for his every need took a toll. Even though I was already a Registered Dietitian, I struggled with eating well to take care of myself, which made it difficult to be there for Ben and my entire family.

I started small and leveled up my food choices and cooking by swapping in whole grains and nutrient dense ingredients. When I combined that with my skills as an RD, things got so much easier in our house and at our dinner table.

The most important way to take care of your child is to take care of yourself. You can be confident making healthy food choices every day. I’m here to help.

I offer private nutrition counseling as well as group workshops.
