Camp Kinney

Kinney Center for Autism Education

St. Joseph's University

UPDATED: May 24, 2021

Camp Kinney provides a traditional day camp experience for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), through a naturalistic application of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Campers spend the summer working on a set of personalized goals, receiving individualized interventions through positive recreational activities. Campers with ASD benefit from interaction with their neurotypical peers who model age-appropriate behaviors. Each day camper receives 20 hours per week of ABA services across social skills, swimming, science, lunch time and playground routines, including weekly visits from special guests. Camp Kinney is accredited by the American Camp Association.
