Special Education
Private day school for participants ages 12-21 who typically have a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder, and may have a speech-language impairment or intellectual disability
Curriculum focuses on functional areas including social/communication, daily living, vocational with instruction in core curriculum subjects
Placement and programming is guided by each student’s IEP, with ASOLs and VAAP assessments utilized as appropriate
Intervention occurs at our facility and in community settings
Low student to staff ratios with supervision by licensed teachers and behavior analysts
Licensed by the Virginia Department of Education
