Barber National Institute

The Barber National Institute provides a range of services to support children and adults with autism, intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges. Services in Erie, PA include early intervention therapies from birth to age three, preschool programs, an approved private school and summer camp for children with high functioning autism; services for adults include job skills development and supported employment, community supports day programs, residential options and recreational programs; a range of behavioral health services include social skills development, BHRS, and trauma/grief counseling. In addition, the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia regions provide adult day, job development and residential programs.
