Formed in 1981, the Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia is a grassroots organization in the Tidewater, Virginia Region and beyond to include the Peninsula. We were established to help improve the lives of all affected by autism and does this by increasing public awareness, advocating for appropriate services for individuals across the lifespan, and providing the latest information on treatment, education, research and advocacy.
