IRIS Safety Program

IRIS

UPDATED: December 11, 2018

Autism FYI Org is dedicated to the safety, employment, and independent living of those on the Autism Spectrum. IRIS is our free Safety Program based on the premise that Immediate Recognition Increases Safety. Through the displaying of the easily identifiable alert logo, notification of First Responders, and 24 hour hotline with enrollment, IRIS provides a safer interaction with First Responders. Through the free online training program for Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMS, and School Resource Officers , they are taught to understand Autism characteristics and how to interact safely. With the free downloadable app, First responders have easy access to information about Autism, IDD and other Neurologic Disorders, helpful tips, Miranda Rights made easy, and the 24-hour hotline. Other products are available for purchase as pertinent for the enrollee. Products can be purchased without enrolling.
