Augusta Autism and Disability Support Group

UPDATED: January 14, 2021

Education and support for parents and families of children with a special needs diagnosis.
Open to parents, relatives and caregivers of children and adults with autism and disabilities!
Our purpose is to provide peer support, open exchange of information and professional advice from guest speakers. In addition, we coordinate monthly community outings to lessen the isolation that those with disabilities often face.
We strive to bolster the realistic hope and confidence that although a loved one faces a life-long diagnosis, there can also be life-long happiness! Our goal is to help empower the person, the family, and the community through knowledge, acceptance and love.
Please join us to share your experiences, or simply listen to others whose families may be facing similar challenges to your own. There are many of us in the area, and we sincerely hope to meet and get to know you soon.
