Advanced Psychological Services, LLC

UPDATED: September 17, 2018

Our practice conducts assessments to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder in children, adolescents, and young adults ages 4 through 21. We utilize the most culturally sensitive and psychologically advanced measures to assess for autism. Our practice is trilingual and we speak Spanish and Portuguese and can also conduct the evaluations in these languages. Dr. Silva differentially diagnoses for other disorders, such as trauma based disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, intellectual disability and learning disabilities, since these can appear to be Autism Spectrum Disorder, but in reality not be. We undertake a comprehensive history of the child, since this is quite important in the diagnosis of Autism. Most importantly, Dr. Silva understands and encompasses sensitivity and compassion in her approach to assessments.
