UPDATED: November 1, 2018

Penny has worked with individuals with disabilities since 2004. While working as a support staff in residential, vocational, and educational settings, she developed a passion for helping others. Building an interest in communication deficits, Penny graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2013, completing a thesis targeting dynamic assessment approaches in culturally and linguistically diverse populations. She has experience working in adult and pediatric populations including adults with acute injuries, individuals with hearing impairments, children with cognitive impairments, and public school populations. Penny has a drive to improve communication for individuals who struggle to express themselves, with an interest in augmentative and alternative communication systems, language development, and speech development in special populations.
