Our mission at 29 Acres is to create a culture of empowerment that allows adults with Autism to maximize independence and personal happiness while fully connecting to their local communities. 29 Acres offers four different programs and a living community that supports the full spectrum of autism! All clients have an individualized plan and goals, evidenced- based approaches including ABA, highly trained staff, low staff to client ratios, vocational training, BCBAs on staff, community-based experiences!

Transition Academy is a two-year residential program for higher functioning adults with Autism. This program is for young adults with ASD who are motivated to live independently and enjoy competitive employment. The three major components of this program include living in our transitional housing, learning independent living and career readiness skills through our proven curriculum, and gaining work experience through internships and jobs. This program enrolls new students every summer and space is limited.

Enrichment Services are designed to be inclusive of the full spectrum of autism and is for individuals 18+. Adults will all have individualized programs and supports that work on rec and leisure skills, social skills, community connections, vocational training, daily independent living skills. This program launched with 9:00-5:00 day programming and supports. You can join any time of the year, but space is very limited. Full-time or partial week opportunities are available. Our enrichment services are also available to residents of 29 Acres for full 24/7 support.

The 29 Acres Living Community has 8 houses and 32 rental opportunities. The rent includes: utilities, internet and cable, property management, overnight security guard, optional daily educational, rec and social opportunities, pool/ hot tub, biking/ walk paths, community garden, scheduled transportation, game/chill room, gym space and multipurpose room! Support services are billed separately, and residents have the option of choosing any person or agency to provide their support.

29 Acres also has a 6-week summer camp for young adults starting at age 16 and employment services for those living in Collin or Denton county.
