Video: Meet Dylan C.

Forging a path within a world of difference: Dylan C., 21

I take pride in contributing to a society that makes sure that people with autism have hope.

When Dylan C. was diagnosed with autism as a toddler, his parents, Laurie and Eric took action. The first-time parents immediately began searching for intervention resources that would provide their son with the tools he would need to reach his full potential.

Today, thanks to his determination and his unwillingness to let his diagnosis define him, as well as his parent’s unrelenting support, Dylan is thriving as a physics major at Grinnell College in Iowa. The Illinois native has admittedly hit several roadblocks along his journey, but they’ve never prevented him from putting a smile on his face and forging ahead with the gentle guidance of his family.
