Autism Eats is a an amazing local charity that supports and connects families that are involved in the Autism Community. Autism Eats provides autism-friendly, non-judgmental environments for family dining, socializing and connecting with others who share similar joys and challenges. We've worked with Fireside Chicago to host our second event, an amazing brunch for families. Our private dining room will be adjusted to accommodate those with sensory sensitivity. Food is served buffet style with brunch options for the parents and lunch options for the children including chicken tenders, mac and cheese, pizza, fries and fruit. All attending have a loved one on the spectrum so there is no need to apologize, explain or feel uncomfortable. It is an opportunity to enjoy a brunch with others who have many of the same joys and challenges in common. The children will receive sensory/squeeze toys and we are working on donations including small gifts for the parents, dessert and balloons. Families must RSVP on the website at The price includes food, tax, tip and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.
