White House Lights It Up Blue for World Autism Awareness Day

March 31, 2017

Every year, we ask people across the nation and around the globe to Light It Up Blue to increase understanding and acceptance.

Fulfilling a promise made in 2016 by Donald Trump to the late Suzanne Wright, co-founder of Autism Speaks, the White House joined hundreds of iconic landmarks around the globe to Light It Up Blue on April 2, 2017 in honor of World Autism Awareness Day.

Let’s embrace solutions for the diverse needs of the autism community.

We come together in unity to increase understanding and acceptance of children and adults with autism, across the spectrum. As a nation, we must meet the critical need for increased research and support.
