(June 25, 2014) -- This year White Castle raised over $650,000 for Autism Speaks through their "Castle Shares" program. From April 1 through May 3, 2014 White Castle sold puzzle pieces in 400 restaurants in 12 states. This was the fifth straight year in a row White Castle surpassed their fundraising record for Autism Speaks.
Corporate relations manager at White Castle Eric Shannon said of the program's success, "We're excited that our Cravers and team members strongly supported the puzzle piece campaign again this year. The result of reaching our campaign goal again in 2014 allows White Castle to make a large donation to an organization that we firmly believe in."
Since White Castle partnered with Autism Speaks in 2010 they've raised more than $3 million to help support the cause.
