(October 5, 2014) -- Six locations across the country hosted Walks to raise awareness and much needed funds to support the autism community. It's the height of the season for the Walk Now For Autism Speaks program as tens of thousands turned up in the nation's capition, New Jersey, New York's Long Island and in locations across the heartland.
Celebrating it's 15th anniversary, thousands gathered to walk along Jones Beach on crisp Autumn afternoon. More photos of the event can be found on the Walk's Facebook page.

In Lincoln, the Univ. of Nebraska Alpha Xi Delta team and Team Subway Lincoln were the leading fundraisers this year. Updates can be found on the Walk link above and on its Facebook page.
The Walk in Canton at the ProFootball Hall of Fame included live entertainment from Disney Princess, the En-Rich-Ment Drum line, and a performance from Alex Hale. And registered walkers were offered a free tour of the Hall after the Walk. Check out photos and the full Walk recap here.
