Autism Speaks’ third annual Blue Jean Ball rocked Los Angeles last night. The event honored Autism Speaks Board Member Chuck Saftler. Saftler, who is president of program strategy and chief operating officer of FX Networks, was recognized for his dedication to autism awareness.
The event, which is the second largest fundraiser in Southern California, was hosted by TV personality Maria Menounos (Extra) and actor Michael Chiklis (The Shield, Vegas, The Commish). The blue carpet was rolled out for guests who enjoyed an acoustic show from headliner Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame. “Jesse’s Girl” singer Rick Springfield also performed as well as a slew of other singers.
The Autism Speaks Blue Jean Ball is dedicated ro raising awareness and funds for innovative autism research and resources for individuals and families affected by the disorder.
