- The Terre Haute Walk Now For Autism Speaks was a fun, family and friendship-filled day of excitement! The 8th Annual Terre Haute Walk Now for Autism Speaks was enjoyed by more than 600 walkers and their friends and family on Saturday, September 20th at the Vigo County Fairgrounds in Terre Haute. It was a beautiful, sunny day and families enjoyed our wonderful Sponsor and Community Resource Fair area, where they could grab some swag, chat with a Minion, a Princess, or Ninja Turtle, as well as bounce in a castle, grab a balloon, eat some White Castle sliders and enjoy some great tunes! To date, the event raised more than $30,000 in support of Autism Speaks’ mission to fund research, increase awareness and family services and advocate for individuals with autism and their families.
